Making It Personal: A Conversation with Katha Pollitt and Anna Quindlen

The CUNY Graduate Center event is now available as a podcast. From the CUNY site:

Is the United States ready for a female president? Is Hillary Clinton the right woman to lead the country? Pulitzer-Prize winning columnist Anna Quindlen compares notes with acclaimed political journalist Katha Pollitt in a discussion at the Graduate Center. The best-selling author of eight books and a columnist for Newsweek, Ms. Quindlen shares her ideas on writing, feminism and politics with Ms. Pollitt, a columnist at The Nation since 1980. Ms. Pollitt, whose “Subject to Debate” column was the recipient of 2003 National Magazine Award, also reads from her new book of personal essays, “Learning to Drive and Other Life Stories.”
